Sowat is born and has grown between Marseille and Los Angeles. In 2009, Sowat joined the Da Mental Vaporz crew with whom he went through the world (England, Brazil, Danmark, Spain, Australia) to make mural paintings of large scale.
In 2012, Sowat joins Lek, the digger of graffiti on the Mausolée project. With more than 40 artists, they have painted secretly a disused supermarket of 43 000 m² in the north of Paris. This illegal artistic residence is then shared with general public thanks to a book, a movie and a collective exhibition.
From his architecture studies, Lek has kept his graphic reflexes, his intelligence about volumes, and his apprehension of materials and stands. He has settled his artworks on the walls of disused factories, abandoned houses, tunnels, and has melted them in his environment. Lek dissects, bursts, diverts, and stretches the letter, essential setting of graffiti and he uses wood, paper and adhesive tape as well as he uses spray can.
Dem aka Monster, is a writer form the suburb of Paris, member of 90DBC, LBD and TCP. His style is always being renewed thanks to his ability to suit in various trends and also to put his particular touch.
