Pit
Born in Croix in 1968
Lives and works in Lille, France
Between 85 and 95, Pit drew mostly in black and white: psychedelic drawings influenced by the likes of Charles Burns and some were published in graphzines like Sortez la Chienne (FR), Chacal Puant (FR) , St-Ink (US).
And then Pit stopped.
In 95, putting drawing aside, Pit joined an old friend and founded the agency Œil pour Œil where Pit learnsd”computing” to print as well as “computing” for the web.
When, in 2004, Pit became The Pit, it was to produce drawings of girls. Envious and proud girls, torn girls, who pull and tear each other ‘s flesh and hair. Those Misses Troma are painted using sharp brushes mixing seduction and confusion.
