The working approach of Kyle Hughes encompasses a range of mediums – primarily muted, earthy and warm acrylics on wood finished with luscious gloss coats, ink and watercolour on paper and large scale public art murals with aerosol.
Kyle Hughes has exhibited throughout Australia, in the U.S and Europe. His street art and installations have been seen in cities such as Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Berlin, and New York.
His work has previously featured in publications such as Street Art New York (Prestel 2010), Kingbrown, Empty, WoodenToy and Acclaim magazine.
Kyle Hughes recently finished a sell-out solo exhibition at Turner Galleries and completed a 45m commission for the Murdoch university art collection in Western Australia.
