Joshua Cotter
Joshua Cotter was born in 1977 somewhere in deep Missouri.
Joshua Cotter grew up at his parent’s farm, 3 km from Barnard, a village of 234 residents. Joshua Cotter follows an artistic course at Kansas City Art Institute before becoming an illustrater for local alternative press as well as for the Kansas City Star.
In 2000 the artist starts to publish mini comics series.
In 2003, Joshua Cotter begins Skyscrapers from the Midwest as fanzine and wins the Isotope Award. The editor from AdHouse Books offers to publish the book, which will be released in four volumes between 2004 and 2007, and as an anthology in 2008.
