Ghislain Garlin
Ghislain Garlin grew up under the sun in the south east of France, then moved to Poitiers and later to Arles.
After studying synthetic animation, Ghislain Garlin arrives in Paris to practice. There, he works in freelance and rapidely obtains the responsability of the graphic direction on various projects (video clips, commercials…).
In his free time, Ghislain Garlin imprints in chinese ink his graphic language on paper, mixing his belligerent sens of humour with detailed stories and spontaneous sensorial discharges.
Each drawing illustrates the alphabet of a strong universe, nourished by massive visual information, sound languages from his fellow contemporaries and recycled stimulus in order to present his own poetic and brutal vision of the world.
