Alice Jarry
Alice Jarry graduated from Concordia University with a major in Art Design and minor in Digital image and sound. Interested by the relation and contradictions between digital technology and manual process, it is in 1999 that Alice Jarry first discovers the modular technic of Silk screen print, which will later become the key element in her work.
In 2003, Alice Jarry co-founded the CINQUNQUATRE project where she creates unique works declined on different bases: posters, album covers and websites.
Alice Jarry’s work focus on the screen print technic to which she adds other influences such as drawing, digital art, photos, and other gleaned pictures. In the end, the editorial character of the screen print disappears leaving each art work unique with various recurrent elements.
